Our Policies & Information

Cancelations:

A 24-Hour cancelation policy applies to all trips. Should you need to reschedule or cancel your excursion, we do require 24 hours notice so that we can sell your reserved seats.

In the event of an emergency or illness (with cancelation under 24 hours notice) we do require that you provide a physician's letter, from a local Maui doctor, for a full-refund of the individual who is sick. If the person that is sick/injured, is a child, a Maui physician’s note will guarantee a full refund for that child and one parent.

Refunds:

We are happy to provide you with a full-refund provided we receive notice of cancelation or rescheduling at least 24 hours prior to trip so that we can resell your seats. In the event of illness, when under 24 hours notice, we do require that you provide a physician's letter for a full-refund.

Taxes & Surcharges:

Maui Classic Charters adds the following taxes, totaling 7.166%, to the cost of the Maui Magic trip:

  • State of Hawaii General Excise Tax – 4.166%
  • Department of Land & Natural Resources Harbor/Mooring Fees 3%
  • Fuel Surcharge of $7
  • Prices listed on our site do not reflect these fees.

Molokini or Wildlife are Weather & Conditions Permitting:

We always attempt to go to Molokini first and foremost. However, destinations and types of species or marine wildlife that can be seen all depend upon what nature provides us with each day. It is at our well-trained USCG licensed captain's professional discretion what snorkel location the Maui Magic will voyage to. Your safety always comes first!

Children Under 5:

Because of the "adventurous nature" of the Maui Magic, we do not recommend the Dolphin Discovery Snorkel for children under the ages of 5.  However, we do offer a perfect trip for families with young children aboard our sister ship The Four Winds II.
