Cancellations
A 24-Hour cancellation policy applies to all trips.
In the event of illness (cancellation under 24 hours’ notice) we do require that you provide a physician’s letter, from a local Maui doctor, for a full-refund of the individual who is sick. If the person that is sick/injured is a child, a Maui physician’s note will guarantee a full refund for that child and one parent.
Occasionally it does happen where we must cancel a trip due to weather or unforeseen events. We do our best to give notice of cancellation as early as we can. In the event, we cancel a trip we provide a full-refund or offer the opportunity to go out on another day based on availability.

Refunds
We are happy to provide you with a full-refund provided we receive notice of cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 hours prior to trip so that we can resell your seats. In the event of illness, when under 24 hours’ notice, we do require that you provide a physician’s letter for a full-refund.

Snorkel Destinations (including Molokini) and Marine Life Weather Permitting
We always attempt to go to Molokini first and foremost. However, destinations like Molokini and the coastline all depend upon what nature permits each day. The same for the marine wildlife that can be seen each day. It is at our Captain’s trained, professional discretion what snorkel location the Maui Magic will voyage to.

Taxes & Surcharges
Maui Classic Charters adds the following taxes, totaling 7.166%, to the cost of the Maui Magic trip:

  • State of Hawaii General Excise Tax – 4.166%
  • Department of Land & Natural Resources Harbor/Mooring Fees 3%
  • Fuel Surcharge of $7
  • Prices listed on our site do not reflect these fees.

Children Under 5:
Because of the elite nature of the Maui Magic, children under the age of 5 are not permitted on this trip. However, we do offer a perfect trip for families with young children aboard our sister ship The Four Winds II.
